An 88 yo patient presents with a heart rate of 36 beats per minute. There has been a progressive increase short of breath during the day and the patient has called the ambulance.
Atropine given by the ambulance has no effect.
On arrival to the emergency department, the patient is stable and still bradycardia. Soon after confusion increases and now the blood pressure is unrecordable…… watch the case.
